Cook Required
	
		
		We are a busy Japanese restaurant looking for a passionate, committed and hard-working cook who can work mostly unassisted to a high standard in the following areas:
	
	
Duties of the position
	• Examining foodstuffs and ensuring quality
	• Preparing and cooking food
	• Regulating and controlling kitchen equipment and machines
	• Seasoning food during cooking and portioning food
	• Placing food in dishes and adding and garnishing food
	• Storing food and ordering ingredients
	• Training new kitchen staff members
	• Ordering kitchen supplies and equipment
	• Maintains hygienic condition in working areas and health and safety procedures
	
	
Requirements for the position
	• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or at least 3 years relevant experience
	• Experienced in Japanese dishes
	• Work experience in the relevant industry
	• Australian permanent resident / citizen
